Got a Case of the Muundays? Tubes to Make it Worse;~j

Health care is the top story these days. Despite the insanity surrounding the issue, I am pleased to see any sort of coverage on one of the most important matters facing our country.

Monday August 10, 2009 in 100 seconds brought to you by TPMtv.

The President took time today to speak about the issue as well.

I understand that he will be hosting a number of town hall’s over the next few weeks to discuss health care reform.

So what is all of the hype about. Click here, and turn to page 424 (section 1233) of the House health care bill to judge for yourselves.

Friday August 7, 2009: The Day in Tubes

I noticed whilst perusing late night Showtime channels that there is a porn star named Holly Hollywood. For some reason I found this deeply disturbing;~J Please do not confuse me with Ms Hollywood as I spell my name with an i. Now that I have cleared up any confusion…

Perhaps the repug-nance these past couple of months has overwhelmed our perceptions with mind numbing stupidity, and in a bizarre way, they have won the summer so far. I think that is about to change. The right has overplayed it’s cards and the American people are beginning to

back away in horror. (thanks for the line Sricki)

Daily Tubes for August 5 & 6, 2009

In a heart wrenching surprise moment yesterday morning, Former President Bill Clinton helped bring Laura Ling and Euna Lee home from what must been an absolutely terrifying experience in North Korea. The event brought tears to my eyes and I must say my extreme fondness for the Big Dog has grown beyond measure. And my admiration for President Obama and SOS Clinton’s deftness in this matter is bursting at the seams. Goodness, it is wonderful to have grown-ups in charge again. This is how it is supposed to work folks.

Indeed. Welcome home Laura and Euna.

Thursday August 6, 2009 in 100 seconds by TPMtv

Welcome to the Supreme Court Ms Sotomayer. On a day like this, I am very proud to be an American.

Could it Be? Yes Indeed…Tubes Are Back!!!

Some of you may have noticed I have been gone for a while. I was off trying to find any advanced intelligence in our universe. No luck so far, and to my shock and horror, it appears that IQ’s have dropped suddenly on planet Earth while I was away. At least in the United States part of the third rock from the sun.

Monday August 3, 2009 in 100 seconds.

One could say it is merely a listening problem, but for the sudden, sometimes frightening, and often hysterical rise of the lunatic right. Birther’s, end of lifers, and now paid mobs to disrupt Democratic town hall meetings; make me wonder what the hell has happened over the past three months.

There is so much wackiness out there these days, one would need to devote an entire blog to adequately cover the vastness of crazy tubes. When Ann Coulter thinks you are nuts, it is a bad sign.

Tuesday August 4, 2009 in 100 seconds.

Happy Birthday Mr. President.

The Last of the Bonus Tubes…for now

This really is it for a while. It looks like I got an extra day or so with the service at the old place. I am checking outa here on Friday morning and I cannot think of a better thing to happen for us. Yay and on with the new.

I am figuring on holding out for a day or two to get service started. Then it will take a few days for the intertube tech to find my house. Give me a week, as I am weak…and lame;~) In the meantime, I thought I would share a couple of odds and ends I found while rummaging around in the Youtube closet.

Headzup shows the true face of republican hypocrisy.

A sweet moment for all of us.

The republicans are talking Banana Republic points, whilst I am reminded of Nuremberg.

Some things are just plain wrong, no matter how hard you try to justify them. I am quite certain that people quit their jobs, rather than torture another human being. We are Americans for crying out soft. That actually means something to me.

Daily Tubes: April 27 and 28, 2009

Someone seems to have screwed up and left my internet running. It was supposed to be turned off this morning. Not that I am complaining, as I am glad for the moments of surfing bliss I experienced today. The house is cleaned and the last of our things will be departing tomorrow for the new digs.

For now I am a bit bored and put together one last regular daily tube diary. Today was very interesting!

Tuesday April 28, 2009: The day in 100 seconds.

Holy crap! I remember hating Arlan Specter in the 1980’s. What is this world coming to?

Wow.

Heh.

Monday April 27, 2009: The day in 100 seconds.

Jesus. Thank goodness Arlan switched today. Otherwise the entire country might have exploded with pig fear from the lunatics on the news.

TMPtv Bonus Tubes ~ The Week of April 20 through April 24, 2009

Here are some more bonus tubes. In other words, tubes I did not think I would have time to do. I take a little break here and there to distract myself from the horror of packing and cleaning, and work on something fun for a bit. Although this week looks to have been anything but fun. Almost makes me glad I missed most of it.

Did the republicans get a whole lot nuttier recently? Or is my lack of exposure to them  re-sensitizing me to irrational thought? My mother seems to think that they are some deep doo doo over this torture issue.

Friday April 24, 2009: The day in 100 seconds.

Sorry, I like going backwards. It would seem that the republicans like it as well.

Thursday April 23, 2009: The day in 100 seconds.

“The world will be back to normal in a year or two”. Really? Just a year or two? I like his optimism. Waaiiiitaminute. That was fox. I am not sure I like the sound of that after all!

Headzup! Bonus Tubes

Frieeeends, puleaze ignore the fat man with the oxy’s.

I wish I could go.

Goodness, everyone is giving President Obama a really rough time about the bush hunta crimes.

Like this President did anything wrong. Honestly, I think that President Obama struck the right balance. If he had just released national security documents, the republicans would have grabbed him by the short hairs.

Oh and by the way, some 400 individuals, many of which were following orders, have been convicted of bad behavior over the past eight years. 400 grunts and one General. Hmmmm, makes you wonder, doesn’t it?
