    Okay, the popcorn bowl is full, and the chips and veggies and dips are all set.  Plenty of forks for the hotpot dipping, and are there… Ah, yes, we’ve got lots of napkins.  Hate to put out barbecue ribs and not have plenty of napkins, that’s just wrong, and don’t try to tell me licking your fingers is good enough.

    Checking… oh, good; there should be enough ice and clean glasses to last the whole 90 minutes, no matter how hard this crew hits the bar.  Better cut up a couple more limes, though, just to be safe.

    By the way, there’s a bucket of Nerf balls over there for throwing at the screen — wouldn’t want to bust it.

    I’ll be in my room with my computer and the cats, if you need me.

    the fact that Romney’s campaign won’t identify a damn thing. No specifics, no real details. Nothing to help us pin him down in any way. Romney’s policies are a lot like his personality… a great big murky, greasy puddle of… ooze.

    That has to still be rough…Presidency aside, politics aside…to have the woman who helped raise you pass away three days before what is arguably the greatest achievement of your non-familial life (marriage and kids, imo, will alway come before career in life highlights), would be tough as hell on anyone. Heartbreaking really.

    One of the things that disgusts me the most about them…the NEEEEEED to be smarmy.

    Just makes the douchenozzles who do it look petty and small.

    And they are SOOOOO proud of it…half the time it is said with a knowing smirk like they just got away with something of import.  

    It is one of my cues to ignore everything else that comes out of the speaker’s mouth.

    And Sully thinks POTUS might have just lost the election.

    Methinks folks aren’t remembering the last election.  Debating isn’t POTUS’s strong suit; he’s wonky and rambling and not particlarly aggressive.  I also think folks on lefty blogs and twitter took Romney way too lightly.
