    and it was actually a nice way of releasing themselves from canon. It has the hard core Trekkers and Trekkies all up in arms, but it was a nice reboot.

    Though, there is a tiny slice half blood Asian ire for casting John Cho in the Sulu role–but since Roddenberry himself made Hikaru Sulu sort of Pan-Asian as opposed to Japanese, I’m willing to let it slide.

    It should be worth another movie or two. Don’t know if it’ll resurrect a Trek TV series anytime soon, but it does breathe life into the franchise…
