Since 2008 – Progress Through Politics

Friday Night Tubes

I have a love/hate relationshit with the news. I am a complete cable news addict and have been for years. However, this has not been a sweet love affair, as I have done a lot more hating than loving, over this twenty five year marriage.

I have now found a cure for this, and it’s name is TMPtv. See what I mean on Friday February 27, 2009 in 100 seconds.

One of my favorite past times is making fun of the news. They are such easy targets as evidenced by Thursday February 26, 2009 in 100 seconds.

Really Mary? Do you actually believe that nonsense any longer?

On a personal note, I would like to take a moment to congratulate my parents on their 49 year anniversary. Happy Day Mom and Dad! Huge party planned for 50!

My other favorite activity is making fun of republicans. They make it easy as well, because the pugs are so completely ridiculous, and this is finally coming through. Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in 100 seconds.

Ah yes. As the brilliant Blaskman said earlier this week, The Mendacity of Nope. Best line I have heard in a very long time.

I already posted this in Chris’ diary, but felt it deserved another shot at our audience. I thought Headzup nailed Opie rather well. Or is that Mr Rogers?

The lil’ shrub has a desperate plea for a serious problem.

It does seem fitting though. Kinda like instant Karma, wouldn’t you say? I wonder how his portfolio did over the past eight years.

The Onion debates a serious issue for our kids.

I hear that Rush is having trouble with the ladies. How can this be?

Oh that’s right. He is a disease and women are good at sensing that.

but President Obama has been tougher. I think he has soundly beaten the republicans and has put the media in their place. They all need to step up their game, to even begin to hope to match him. Good God, we might even get substance for a change. Either that or they will be left in the dust.
