Monday December 14, 2009: The Day in Tubes

Another VersusPlus! I think that is the second in just a couple of weeks. They seem a bit bearish these days.

I need to thank them for helping me post a tube diary.

Wanna know who is against health care reform? Rachel Maddow gives us some insight. Be patient, as the confusion will soon pass.

Don’t those populist movements just set you on fire?

Most of my thoughts today were of Joseph I Lieberman. The worst person in the wooorrld. Why? Because he went on Face the Nation on Sunday and said the following:

Very bad Joe. Oh and Didn’t you just support the Medicare buy-in just three months ago?

Today on Hardball Matthews and guests thoroughly analyzed Joe the Bummer’s motivations.

Really Joe? You are pissed at the liberal left? You are dooming our country’s first serious attempt at health care reform, and will be instrumental in turning it into an insurance company bonanza and monumental clusterfuck for the American people; just to hurt Markos and me? Good God man, what sort of person are you?

I think he is right. I suspect that Lieberman is currently grandstanding and will vote to close debate next week. In the mean time we apparently need to pay attention to Joe the Bummer.

So here is one last tube that struck me as a more fitting response to Mr Lieberman.

Hopefully I won’t have to think about the future, former, Senator Joseph I Lieberman much longer. And if he does do the unthinkable, and filibuster this bill, take his Chairmanship the moment he begins. 81% of Democrats agree with me.
