Motley Monday Check in and Mooselaneous Musings

 photo Monday2_zps83ab71bd.jpg

Good morning Motley Meese! Hope your weekend was lovely.

PLEASE Don’t Recommend the check-in diary!

Fierces on the weather jar comment are still welcome.

The check-in is an open thread and general social hour. Come back when time allows through the day – the conversation continues.

It’s traditional but not obligatory to give us a weather check where you are and let us know what’s new, interesting, challenging or even routine in your life lately. Nothing is particularly obligatory here except:

Always remember the Moose Golden (Purple?) Rule:

Be kind to each other… or else.

What could be simpler than that, right?

Seriously, WTH? Random clock change messes with my already fragile sleep cycle.

37 here, headed for a high of 62 degrees. Spring, is that you?

  2. I have the window open and rain is supposed to be on its way. I looked at the radar, but it seems to be stuck to the north. Although it was only about 250 miles north, I didn’t feel the earthquake earlier. I heard it though. 🙂

What’s challenging? Well, we will probably be evicted in the coming months as the landlords want to do some MAJOR construction on our building. They will have to pay us to move, so that will help. Who knows where we’ll wind up. It won’t be in San Francisco. We only stayed this long as we were saved by rent control. I’m getting a crash course in tenant’s rights. LOL

  3. Sure, sure … it is “good” to wake up at least once every day but does anyone really know what time it is? My body has no clue. It got up yesterday at Five-Four and went to bed at Nine-Eight and here it is whotheheckknows.

At least the weather holds some promise. 39 degrees in Madison with expected high of 48. Shorts weather!!

Off to get more coffee and more brain cells.

bleary-eyed and have to go to work today.  blood pressure was up – have gone into full rant mode.

Will be back at lunch time if I can.

    Hugs.

Just barely needed a jacket this morning, and tomorrow’s high will be 78 – before another front & Wednesday’s high will be 60.

Had another really bad night’s sleep. I’ve got to figure a way to exercise with these wrappings. That will help. But today, I have kitchen stuff to finish from the weekend, and more time to put in on the squeezing machine.

And it is really hot in this building today — this isn’t good.

Last nights family dinner was fun, the food was tasty…..and I’m still tired! I’m going to the pool this morning anyway….my mind needs the exercise even more than my body.

This afternoon I’ll enjoy Bellingham from a visitor point of view with my SIL.

may those with the power to get rid of DST be cursed with boils on their butts until they do so!  None of the supposed virtues are actually true and its vices are many – and ANYBODY supposedly interested in efficiency of workers knows it goes down when you mess with the clocks.

Gotta get Fall textbook requests from the faculty before the end of the week so I’d best get to bugging them 🙂  Everybody have a good getting-to-feel-like-Spring week.  {{{HUGS}}} bf

The sun is having a hard time appearing this morning, as did my granddaughter. Unconcerned with any time change, she slept blissfully on until I went into the bedroom and opened the blinds. She was therefore a little grouchy  and we were 15 minutes later than usual getting to day care!

Grandson in Austin is having his torn ACL muscle repaired in surgery this morning, so I’m thinking about him nonstop. My daughter is texting photos of him before he goes in for the operation. One of my Circle sisters is having surgery this afternoon, so I’m a little freaked out by that too. I talked to her yesterday and she sounded as cheerful as could be expected.  In a couple of weeks, when she feels up to it, I’ll go to visit her.

A week ago today it was snowing so heavily that no one could go to work. Washingtonians go into panic mode at the sight of snow. Now it has all melted off roofs and grass. Only a few patches linger near the storm drains. Can’t wait for spring.

    Everyone have a good day!
