I require coffee to get moving, and some exercise helps, even if it’s just jogging around the dining table for a few laps to get the blood going,

Oh, hell, tons of stuff. I don’t think wireless is on the horizon for kitchen gadgets. Kitchenaid, hand blender, toaster, microwave, crockpot, etc. Then there’s 2 TVs, cable boxes, routers, and the electronics that need charging all the time like the laptop, the iPad, the iPod, the Kindle. Then devices like the vacuum cleaner And power strips. I have 1928 electrical, I also have lots of power strips.

I am not a birder but have become more interested over time, and my favorites are definitely the sea birds, especially the exotic ones that we don’t see here in CA. I do love herons and egrets, and we get those here. They like to play on the L.A. River. The river is a joke to many, but it’s a real wildlife attraction.

mornings….turning on the computer, the beverages vary. One cup of coffee with lots of warm milk and then herb tea is my choice this morning.

plug ins….12 and 3 plug strips in my bedroom alone. Far to many to count in the rest of the house. When the power is off it’s very quiet.

birds…thanks to a childhood attack by an aggressive rooster I really dislike birds. So no bird feeders in our garden even though RonK wants to have one. He can go watch the pecky creatures elsewhere!

Got snowed out of work this morning and stayed in bed.  Lovely.

I don’t drink coffee as a rule, so I usually start with a Diet Pepsi.  But it’s not really for the caffeine; I drink it decaffeinated if I can find it.  I often also start out with plain M&Ms or peanut butter cups.

Wait a minnit, won’t everybody’s answers be the same?  Computer & peripherals, iThings, clock radio (how retro), TV, cable box, dvr, DVD player, microwave, fridge, washer and dryer, power tools, Lulu’s Kindle, lamps, Christmas lights, electric shaver.  Everything but the car.  I’m not that advanced yet.

Yes, I bird.  They’re all cool, but I really enjoy birds you see near water, like sanderlings, because they do this:

Been out of the country for a while, How’s Darrel Issa’s hearing into the George Washington Bridge tie-up going?

    – kara vallow

I was thinking something similar about the threatening emails coming to Republican House members.  Darrel Issa’s not investigating that–imagine him discovering that he was behind it all along!

  5. I have no unidentified sockpuppets. I sometimes set up extra accounts but it is more of a branding thing than any intent to deceive. Can’t have people doing bad things while pretending to be me!!

    This!!

Ray Nagin is guilty of corruption and taking bribes, so obviously Obama must be too. It’s just logic, sheeple!

Sure … black Democratic politicians are all the same. Plus lots of Republicans blame the poor response to Hurricane Katrina on the Obama Administration. Facts schmacts … who needs ’em?

Ha Ha Hovers … is “click to close” like turning down your hearing aid? 🙂
