    36 degrees here and that will pretty much be the daytime high. Tonight a front moves in and is expected to dump 4-6 inches of snow overnight.

    “The first 5 days after the weekend are the hardest”. Har!!

    Not again. The last couple of weeks have been “Am I running out of anything?” and “How badly is the car icing over?” and “OMG I have to do it Today or I’ll have to wait days because it’s going to snooowwww…”

    I’m low on blood pressure pills, the Dreaded Doctor has to be called for a refill, and I only have four cans of cat food.

    Tomorrow is just a lot of rain and the snow is the next day, maybe, we know the weatherman can be a liar at times. Even so, today is the day to get stuff done. I have a couple of extra BP pills in the car to tide me over. Time to kwitcherbitchin and get in the shower. TTYL.

    My babies backstage last night: of course Bono does all the talking

    I’m eating breakfast & watching a show about black holes. There’s a ratio of black holes in the center of galaxies to the size of the galaxy. Always. The black hole at the center of a galaxy is always a certain ratio to the galaxy — it’s not random. Even though the ratio is the same as the ratio of a grape to the size of the earth, it seems that a black hole keeps the galaxy from getting bigger. Wow.

    Anyway – the agenda for today: 9 mile walk, cooking, laundry & mending.

    The Pink-Cheeked Precious is at preschool, looking forward to playing with her “best friend, Sophie.”  Kids change “best friends” faster than they change clothes, apparently.

    A quiet day here–yesterday was exciting enough, at the Beagle and Basset Meetup. It was quite noisy! Met some delightful beagles and their humans. Monty behaved much better than he did at the last meetup.

    Off to the Hallmark store this morning for more birthday cards. We have so many winter birthdays in our family I’m going to be impoverished by April! 😉

    Still following the “Chris Christie Story” with enormous interest. The news coming out of Wisconsin made me feel sick at my stomach, to wit: a legislator has proposed that no one needs a day of rest, so people should be allowed to work seven days straight if they want to. We all know how many people “want” to work seven days straight.

    This country is full of immoral capitalists who are most unlike the Christ they supposedly worship.

    And finally getting light….the morning darkness seems really dark this winter.

    I’m going to the PT pool this morning, taking several projects to my friends drapery workroom this afternoon, then treating her to a milestone birthday dinner tonight. Every project that leaves my sewing room is cause for celebration, as is growing older in the company of good friends.

    admittedly going down from here, but still…  Enjoy the weird weather because it’s pretty much here to stay.  First day of classes, last week of enrollment so a bit busy.  I’ll check back if I can.  {{{HUGS}}} bf
