Interrogatories

Are you still accidentally writing “2013” instead of “2014”?

Are you a good driver? How are you at parallel parking?

Did you ever have to sneak into your own home?

Have you ever been locked out of your home when nobody is around to let you in? What did you do?

I have not yet written “2013” in “2014,” but it’s still early.

Not a good driver (an inexperienced one) and I never had tried to park a damned car.

When I was a teen I did a fair bit of sneaking in and sneaking out.

I locked myself out so many times! Now there is a neighbor with a key and the landlord close by with a key, so last time I did it I was rescued quickly. Before that, if I couldn’t find an open window, I’d have to go somewhere and kill time until someone could let me in. It would rather suck to live remotely and not have anyone (except a locksmith) to help.

  2. Every Tweet I saw referencing it had a link to the NY Times and I am not going to waste a paywall click on finding out what he is doing.

I wrote a check yesterday and used 2014. I am so proud of myself … I will not write any more checks this year so that I can stay at 1.000%.

    THIS!!

The liberal media is so biased that I haven’t seen one story on the bread lines and rationing in NYC caused by the de Blasio regime.

Funny new Tweeter is @DavidBrooks420. I noticed David Brooks had written a column scolding Colorado for legalizing marijuana (no … I did not click on that, either). So some wag created an account:

    This sums it up!

God had a couple of Tweets:

and this one … perfect for those who live by the Tweet:

    Back later …

Good morning…..between the coal trains and the crude oil trains Bellingham is vulnerable to an accident “no one” will have seen coming….

  4. Gee

and lots and lots of cold wind.

Have you ever been locked out of your home when nobody is around to let you in? What did you do?

Time will tell.  Usually, what happens is that I’m really careful the first couple of days, and start slipping up a little later.

I’m an OK driver.  I’ve got a clean record, anyhow.  I haven’t had occasion to parallel park much recently, but I used to be known as a guy who could fit a big car into an amazingly small space.

    No.

    No.

    Q&A:

Are you still accidentally writing “2013” instead of “2014”?  Haven’t had to write it yet, but I do usually get it wrong for most of the month.

Are you a good driver? How are you at parallel parking?  I think I’m a good driver, but don’t ask me to parallel park – haven’t done it since my driver’s test.

Did you ever have to sneak into your own home?  Only in cases of being locked out.

Have you ever been locked out of your home when nobody is around to let you in? What did you do?  Yep!  When I was growing up, it was pretty easy to get into the house – we had windows in the living room that slid open left-right instead of up-down, so I could remove the screen and slide the window open.

  6. Gee

1954 – Ross the Boss, American guitarist (The Dictators and Manowar)

The Dictators’ version of California Sun is one of my favorite recordings.

I’m goin’ out west out on the coast

Where the Santa Rosa girls are really the most!

  7. That may start soon. I was awakened at 2:15am by the need to find my lung … which I had hacked out of my body. Unfortunately, once that happens, no amount of drugs can return you to a prone position because the die (or lung?) has been cast. I think a nap at 10:30am might be just what the doctor ordered.

(p.s. I read “Memento Mori ‘Remember You Die’ Day” as “Monsanto ‘Remember To Die’ Day” … that works, too.)

I am learning all sorts of things in  your Today in History:

    – March of Dimes … is that why FDR is on the dime???

    – Why isn’t it Apple Day if this is the day Apple incorporated???

    – Delaware had been thinking of seceding?? Yikes!!

    Hovering …

    – Ewe can pencil me in as HAHAHA!!

    – Curse you, Floja Roja!! This (“She tries to stay out of the spotlight.”) made me laugh out loud … and may require narcotics to suppress the coughing fit which ensued!!

    – What do you have against cowpainters? … they are quite handy with hammer and nail.

I see you found the teaparty’s big tent. 😉

Have a great day, and weekend, Floja Roja!!

Are you still accidentally writing “2013” instead of “2014”?

actually haven’t had the chance to make that mistake yet.

Are you a good driver? How are you at parallel parking?

yes. usually get it on the first try.

Did you ever have to sneak into your own home?

Have you ever been locked out of your home when nobody is around to let you in? What did you do?

yes. yes. once I got in with a credit card.  once through an unlocked window. now i’d be screwed, as we’ve had to put in an alarm after getting robbed.
