Motley Monday Check in and Mooselaneous Musings

Good morning Motley Meese! Hope your weekend was lovely.

PLEASE Don’t Recommend the check-in diary!

Fierces on the weather jar comment are still welcome.

Friday Coffee Hour and check-in is an open thread and general social hour. Come back when time allows through the day – the conversation continues.

It’s traditional but not obligatory to give us a weather check where you are and let us know what’s new, interesting, challenging or even routine in your life lately. Nothing is particularly obligatory here except:

Always remember the Moose Golden (Purple?) Rule:

Be kind to each other… or else.

What could be simpler than that, right?

Headed for 48 today. Not a bad day for a return to work. Spent yesterday driving home, which went well. One of the few pluses of a teen driver is extra relief on long road trips.

Back to the real world, Meeses!

  2. Yikes, you posted at crazy o’clock in the morning! Glad you had a nice trip. From those of us who stayed in the grind, we welcome you back to it!!

It is 26 degrees here on its way up to 37 … snow/rain showers expected this evening.

I spent the long weekend getting my work space reorganized, sorting and pruning project stacks, shredding, and building to-do lists. It does not sound very productive but when my work area is tidy(er), my head feels clearer.

See all y’alls later!! And PLEASE stay out of trouble.

Welcome back from your trip Iriti.

Have lots of odds and ends to do today – have blood work done, call dentist, get passport photos and a money order for my Visa to Algeria, pay bills, write Bkos, and grade a few papers.

I feel like if I write them down  here I might just get them all done 🙂

I’m trying to ignore Jan’s accomplishment of tidying her workspace (which should go on my to do list)

Warm enough for sandals again, at least through Wednesday. Then we get 30s again. So y’all see why winter isn’t really my favorite time of year, right?

Eating breakfast — I still have some of the sweet potato/chickpea spread I was eating for lunch last week, so I’m having a wrap with that — and drinking tea.

I packed the gym bag. Going to the actual gym. No, really. I have a contest to win, so calories must be burned.

    47 today–almost warm!

Owing to a fluke, this is the fifth day in a row that I haven’t had early morning duty at my son’s house. My daughter-in-law’s carpool didn’t operate today so she is having a lovely day at home. Her morning sickness is much better and she’s not quite as sleepy as she was, thank goodness.

Today–gym, followed by errands, then a quiet afternoon of putting away the dishes used for Thanksgiving.

Yesterday I had tea with five priestesses from the old days, nine years ago. It was great to see them all again! Found out they’re all on Facebook, so hope to keep in touch more than we have been.

Between wrapping the small, low-budget presents our family has agreed on this year I’ve got to work on my short story. Scene 1 is written, Scene 2 won’t be a problem, but the other scenes are going to take some inspiration. Might be time to do a creativity spell!  ðŸ™‚

Hope everyone will have a good day.

I need to be dressed and at the physical therapy office in 20 mins so a quick “hi and bye” this morning is all I have time for.

    Hope everybody had a lovely Thanksgiving.  Our family did Thanksgiving on Thursday and then Winter Holy Day yesterday – this year’s scheduling was interesting – so I’ve got the entire month of December to get through rather than just the last week or so between end-of-year celebrations and end of year.  heh. sort of.  Just finished dealing with the 400 emails that were waiting for me this morning (and having lunch) and now need to go deal with the stuff that came in while I was dealing with what was waiting for me 🙂 but need moar coffee!  Have a good week.  {{{HUGS}}}
