Interrogatories

On this day long ago, Alois Alzheimer got a certain disease named after him. Would you want a disease named after you, even as a scientist?

What disease or condition would you name after yourself? (For instance, Floja Roja’s disease would be where the sufferers eat the entire carton of ice cream straight out of the carton without stopping.)

Did your ancestors fight for the North, the South, or both?

Gummi candies: For or against?

When was the last time you were in the doghouse?

Because some of these are too good to let them slip into obscurity just because it’s been several days since the movie was shown:

    no, my names are common.

the disease of knitting or sewing instead of washing dishes?

north, if at all, most immigrated post-civil war.

    not very vegetarian usually.

i do not have a doghouse.

  5.    Zimmerman’s brother just said his family has to be worried about vigilantes. I will take definition of irony for 500 Alex.

That statement earned Zimmerman’s brother a special award.

I have seen that unicorn picture captioned a few times. 🙂

I appreciate cows EVERY day … I live in Wisconsin where all the cows are happy. And, thanks to your reminder, I will make sure none of my pets start fires today.

    Dorks – geeks – nerds:

  6. What disease or condition would you name after yourself?

    moderatitis

Did your ancestors fight for the North, the South, or both?

Dad’s side would be only Northern; Mom’s would have been primarily Northern, but there could have been some in the South.

    Gummi candies: For or against?

    neutral

When was the last time you were in the doghouse?

Whose? And did I have to deserve it?

On this day long ago, Alois Alzheimer got a certain disease named after him. Would you want a disease named after you, even as a scientist?

    no

What disease or condition would you name after yourself? (For instance, Floja Roja’s disease would be where the sufferers eat the entire carton of ice cream straight out of the carton without stopping.)

    not even this one

Did your ancestors fight for the North, the South, or both? both – they were in Tenneessee & Kentucky, states where it was literally brother against brother

Gummi candies: For or against? sometimes yes sometimes no

When was the last time you were in the doghouse? got no one to really be in the doghouse with

    What the hey, it’s immortality!

I thought the ice cream thing was called Gee’s disease, but you called it first.  OK, Gee’s disease would be a condition that causes you to get in the car and drive somewhere for no reason.

I would say that my mother’s side (Pennsylvania) fought for the north, and my father’s side (Virginia) fought for the south.  I know my father’s ancestors had slaves.

    Gummi:  Not to my taste.

1994, probably.  That’s when I separated from my first wife.

What disease or condition would you name after yourself? Not a disease, but Jill’s home remedy: Feeling the urge to do housework, lying down until it passes.

Did your ancestors fight for the North, the South, or both? The South.

Gummi candies: For or against? Only Welch’s real-fruit thingies because they’re springy and not squishy and they have a teeny nutritional content.

  10. Gee

1945 – Peter Lewis, Los Angeles California, rock guitarist/vocalist (Moby Grape)

And son of Loretta Young, if I’m not mistaken.

  11. Would you want a disease named after you, even as a scientist?

    – Sure, I’m a terminal ham.

What disease or condition would you name after yourself?

    – Compulsive talking: Blaskitis

Did your ancestors fight for the North, the South, or both?

    – My G…grandpa from Florida fought for the North.

    Gummi candies: For or against?

    – Gummi vitamins. :~)

When was the last time you were in the doghouse?

    – I don’t think either of us has ever stayed angry with the other for more than a few minutes.

  12. On this day long ago, Alois Alzheimer got a certain disease named after him. Would you want a disease named after you, even as a scientist? Depends on the disease

What disease or condition would you name after yourself? (For instance, Floja Roja’s disease would be where the sufferers eat the entire carton of ice cream straight out of the carton without stopping.) Fantasyitis, the uncontrollable urge to put unicorns and dragons into pictures.

Did your ancestors fight for the North, the South, or both? Both on Dad’s side they were related to Jefferson Davies and on Mom’s side her grandfather fought for the North.

Gummi candies: For or against? Definitely for. You can do such neat desserts with them.

When was the last time you were in the doghouse? Being owned by cats I can’t be put in a doghouse. 😉

On this day long ago, Alois Alzheimer got a certain disease named after him. Would you want a disease named after you, even as a scientist?  No, I don’t think so.

What disease or condition would you name after yourself? (For instance, Floja Roja’s disease would be where the sufferers eat the entire carton of ice cream straight out of the carton without stopping.)  Ha.  Procrastination or Video Game-Itis would figure into it somehow 😉

Did your ancestors fight for the North, the South, or both?  Dunno.  My mom’s Dad I think was 1st Gen in the US, so they missed the war; settled in PA in Coal Mining Country.  Her mom was also from that area, I think.  Dunno a lot about my dad’s side of things; I know his dad grew up in Maryland tho.  So I guess all northern?

Gummi candies: For or against?  For.  I love Swedish Fish, Spearmint Leaves, Gum Drops, etc.

When was the last time you were in the doghouse?  Physically, when I was a kid.  (We had a large doghouse for our Shepherd/Labrador mix).  Metaphorically?  Dunno.  Mr. A & I usually don’t fight.
