And Yahoo Goes Birther…

Seriously, Yahoo? The profound question is whether the author of this afternoon’s ‘The Ticket’ blog post on Yahoo is a conspiracy theorist or just ignorant. I vote both.

Here’s the link. And in case they come to their senses and delete or correct it, a screen shot from my phone (Update: they came to their senses and corrected it. Too bad screen shots live forever.)

Nothing below the fold here because, honestly, what on earth can I say except ‘Seriously, Yahoo?’

It is true, from a certain point of view.  President Obama will not be visiting his country of birth during the course of this trip seeing as he will not be visiting the United States of America.

Had better be looking for a new job on Monday. Of course, Faux “News” will hire them in a heartbeat.

Okay, I knew there was a reason I don’t like Yahoo.  This must be it.

    I am dumbfounded!

Rachel Rose Hartman joined Yahoo News as a Political Reporter in June 2010. She previously served as a Politics Reporter for Congressional Quarterly, where she was responsible for rating and reporting on Congressional and gubernatorial elections in 13 states and covered the 2008 presidential campaign. Born in New York and raised in New Jersey, Hartman has resided in the Washington area for over 10 years. http://yexperts.com/experts/ne…

I have a co-worker who is apparently as lest birth-curious.  Shit like this stuff above doesn’t help and something other than a correction is in order.

(Ms. Hartman is on twitter getting a bit spanked around.  Someone pointed out that she didn’t refer to Ireland as an ancestral homeland, either.  Good point.)
