That fiendish Obama has been working across the aisle again:
A self-described conservative Republican who is a manager in the Internal Revenue Service office that targeted tea party groups told investigators that he, not the White House, set the review in motion, the top Democrat on the House watchdog committee said Sunday.
Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., released a partial transcript of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform interview with the unnamed manager in the IRS’ Cincinnati office. Or not. Did POTUS convince this poor sap to take the fall in exchange for not going to a FEMA camp? Did he sic his Chicago thugs on the man’s family to prompt him to perjure himself? Did POTUS hire Jack Bauer to rough the guy up?
It seems that yet again there was a rush to blame without having critical information. And remember Issa refused to make public the full transcripts of the interviews that were conducted with the IRS employees; he released partial, edited versions. Do we now know why? Cummings says that he’ll release them if Issa won’t. (The same Issa, by the way, who was briefed last year on the targeting but only now, because it went public, got his dander up.)
Oh well, they’ll always have Benghazi!!!1!1!
