Mr. Noun, Verb, and 9/11

forgets 9/11?

“What [Obama] should be doing is following the right things Bush did. One of the right things he did was treat this as a war on terror. We had no domestic attacks under Bush. We’ve had one under Obama,” Giuliani said.

Well, of course not.  He misspoke.

“I usually say, ‘We had no major domestic attacks under President Bush since September 11,'” he told Wolf Blitzer.

“I did omit the words, ‘since September 11,’ and I apologize for that,” he went on. “I do remember September 11. In fact, Wolf, I remember it every single day and usually, frequently during the day.”

In case you’re wondering, the anthrax attacks don’t count because

they [were] never proven to be done in the name of “Islamic terrorism.”

And, Richard Reid?  He happened before 9/11.  In Rudy’s world.

Can Rudy possibly twist himself into any more knots trying to explain this away?  Anyone buying his crappy explanation?

  1. Historical revisionism is coming faster and faster.

Next thing you know, he’ll try to explain how Obama was only elected President thanks to the Supreme Court.
