    39 degrees right now. Supposed to drop all the way down to 30 before rising to 50 this afternoon.  But I’m a wee bit skeptical it’ll go down another 9 degrees that quickly.

    Eye exam this evening for updated reading glasses because I are aged and wearing out in spots. Or so it feels some days.

    To wood working show with hubs for the weekend, not much else planned.

    29 degrees here this morning, expected high of 50. We had furious little blizzard that lasted about 5 minutes on Wednesday but it has been mainly dry.

    Tomorrow is THE WEEKEND!!!!

    Don’t talk about aging, iriti. If I recall, you are younger than me so you cannot possibly be old.

    53 F. today. There is a white layer of frost on the tops of the cars this morning. No more, it seems, will I shuffle blearily out to the garden in my dressing gown to pick raspberries for Miss Preschooler’s breakfast.  They’ll be gone after this.

    Looks like another lovely day here in Northern Virginia.  Wish I knew where people get enormous black spiders and huge white webs for their front gardens.  We feel our Halloween display is rather pathetic but we don’t know what to do about it.

    Yesterday I bought battery-powered candles to put in the windows for Christmas. Christmas-related stuff is everywhere and we haven’t even had Halloween yet.

    It’s 36 this morning! But going to be about 56 later on, so say the paid prognosticators at weather.com.

    Once I get myself around some coffee, I have to get an overnight order ready to go, and then I think we’re planning a Costco adventure. My in laws have expressed a dire need for a 5 pound bag of chocolate. 😀

    son wore shorts yesterday. maybe he can wear some one more time.

    i do not think it will snow before halloween.  unless the weather changes suddenly and quickly.  

    i moved archery lessons to wednesday night to accommodate our plans for next thursday.  the kids have asked to return to their old neighborhood and i said yes.  i like to say yes.  i really do.

    The weather widjet says it will be a cloudy day, and that will be a fine with me. A welcome change from endless wet fog.

    It’s a plumbing today….new sink faucets, a new bathtub faucet/shower combo ( to pricey but it restores the 1920’s broken one), a water line to the new refrig so it will finally make ice, and a dripping shower turn off repaired. We’ve been shuffling stuff out of the way and when I put it all back I’m going to edit. I really am!

    Remember my friend Fred, The Best Boss in the World from our little 1990s company? We had a great time, as always. I had, I dunno, 4 cups of coffee. Yeeee-ha!!
