About to head off to the vet’s with cat #2 to get his rabies shot & a general check-up. Poor guy is not happy right now.

Since everyone’s favorite seasonal food is asparagus, what’s better: Fat or skinny?

I missed yesterday, have to say I don’t really like asparagus, but if I have to eat it, any kind that is not mushy/cooked to death.

When was the last time you lost your temper?  Thursday at work.

What is the best decision you ever made?  Deciding to attend the college I did – the experiences & friends I made there have had a lasting (positive) influence in my life.

What bad habits do you have?  I procrastinate, I bite my fingernails, and I can be lazy.

Are you addicted to anything? Caffeine, Sugar

Best decision I ever made was to take an acting gig in Jackson, Wyoming based on nothing more than a phone call out of the blue. They were in a bind and thus paid for my flight from San Francisco, and found me housing in Jackson.

My time there was mostly fabulous and I met some incredible lifelong friends while there.

I have a number of bad habits, but at this point in my life I’ve made my peace with some of them. Others, I’m still working on whenever the mood takes me.

So, this is the last weekend F Bomb. Best wishes to you, Floja dear, for many relaxing and fun Saturdays and Sundays ahead. And thanks for all the wonderfulness you’ve given us!

When was the last time you lost your temper?  yesterday

What is the best decision you ever made?  joining DK, Burnt Orange Report — this kind of place. I’ve made some of the best friends ever.

What bad habits do you have? eating cheese, not exercising

Are you addicted to anything? cheese

Asparagus? Since I only like the tippy tips and it’s expensive I haven’t had asparagus in years.

Temper? Yesterday evening and more than daily, always because of the computer. Temper tantrums, they are.

Decision? Buying my condo in 1990.

Bad habits? Not cleaning the bird poop off the concrete on my balcony. Being compulsive about small things. Yelling at the cats. Letting things pile up and scattering them about. Or maybe they pile and scatter themselves. Feeding the birds (see item 1).

Addictions? Sweets. Psych meds, but I’m gradually getting off one of those.

Happy national puppy day everyone! I’m at work this morning. Managers take turns being the  “opening manager” at the credit union branches on Saturdays, which means once every 12 weeks I show up and open the building, open the vaults and sit around praying a member doesn’t ask a question I can’t answer. Hey, if they have a question about marketing, I’m their gal. Something about their account? Not so much.

Fat or skinny? Depends on what I’m doing with it but I will generally go for skinny. The one time I really want fat is when I make a salad of rice topped with asparagus, red onion and chopped hard-boiled eggs topped with a mustard vinaigrette.

Last time I lost my temper? Lost it? Like not in control? I can’t remember.

Best decision I ever made? To have kids. Being a parent has made me a better person and brought immeasurable joy into my life.

Bad habits? Putting off things I don’t want to do.

    Addictions: Coffee, sugar, the internet.

  6. Since everyone’s favorite seasonal food is asparagus, what’s better: Fat or skinny? Fat for casseroles, skinny for stir fry.

When was the last time you lost your temper? When someone cut me off and almost caused a crash.

What is the best decision you ever made? Leaving my abusive ex.

What bad habits do you have? Putting off stuff that I don’t really want to do.

Are you addicted to anything? chocolate.

Since everyone’s favorite seasonal food is asparagus, what’s better: Fat or skinny? Skinny and lightly cooked. I hate it when it is overcooked and mushy.

When was the last time you lost your temper? I honestly can’t remember.

What is the best decision you ever made? Two good ones–Marrying blue jersey dad and applying for a Fulbright-Hayes when I was in grad school, even though everyone said that no one gets a Fulbright to the UK. It allowed me to spend almost 2 years at the University of Southampton.

What bad habits do you have? Lots. I procrastinate. I love sweets. I am not neat. I can be crabby.

Are you addicted to anything? Coffee-can’t live without it.

from happy to grumpy. Can’t live with technology, can’t live without it, can’t throw it off the balcony.

For a long time now my wand scanner has scanned in purple. Nice color, but not for every single scan. Grrr.

Today I decided to tackle the purple, Googled and found I needed to calibrate it. I know about calibrating, but it seems that’s one more thing I’ve forgotten now. It was the usual struggle and took forever. One more piece of technology wasting my time, stressing my brain, and killing what little buzz I have.

Did I mention that I think my camera has died? Sigh.

I like skinny.  Asparagus, fries, ties….

It was probably in the car.  I’m always yelling in traffic.

Avoiding Vietnam.  And going to college, if we want to be more positive.  The two things are related, but I didn’t choose the latter to avoid the former.

    Nailbiting.

Only chocolate and sugar, if one can call them addictions.

    Are you addicted to anything?

Actually physically addicted? Probably not. I like coffee in the morning, but I’ve gone without it without ill effect.

Maybe I am addicted (in some sense of the word) to Twitter
