Wednesday Doggies or the Woozles of the Wednesday

Those of you who already either know tricia or know of tricia know that she is a massive pootie person. She moved into an apartment and now has a pootie, named Princess Ashley; however she grew up with both cats & dogs and she loves both. She does not discriminate against any animal & loves animal photos of all kinds. Please enjoy the following and add any photos that you think the community would like to see. Now, enjoy the photos & have some fun.

i’ve been asked by tricia to write today’s doggy diary here as opposed to cross posting her wednesday woozles from that orange place.  i’m new to this so bear with me please.  also, flickr is hiccoughing and my red panda pix can’t be transferred or posted right now.  i’ll try for that later.  thank you all, have fun!

sorry i’m so late, it took me a while to figger out how to post a pic and then once the diary was drafted how to publish it.  i have more pics i’ll try to add as soon as the frustration and feeling stoopid wears off 🙂

  2. Don’t worry about feeling stupid. This site really isn’t any different than the other, as far as code is concerned. It’s just not as obvious. I managed to post pics in a comment the same way I did elsewhere. One of these days, I’ll post a photo diary. It won’t be GUS (gave up smoking) unless we have a good batch of quitters and wannabees. I’ll test the waters soon though. Maybe I’ll post a GUS anyway. No one will have to be a quitter to participate. 🙂

Hopefully tonight I will be able to get to full bandwidth again and then can tear it all up like crazy and will make sure to get the diaries over here without the help.

My girl Lane loved tennis balls so much. When younger she’d go after anything, but at a certain age she lost interest in any kind of ball except tennis balls. So bizarre. A tennis ball and a lake was Nirvana for her.

She left us in the fall after giving us fifteen wonderful years. She was a great spirit all the way until the end. She never lost her spirit through cancer – giving each day a full go even after losing a lot of mobility and being in pain.  After she couldn’t stand up anymore we decided it was time. The pain was obvious and the external wounds from the cancer were impossible to treat anymore. Still, she greeted the housecall vet who came to put her down with welcome tail flops. Heartbreaking and beautiful all at the same time.  She died happy, which is a wonderful way to go.

mr w is putting in a new window so I’ve been looking at this huge hole in the wall of the house. I’ve tried to carry on as though I hadn’t noticed and so far the dog has not been alarmed at all. She’s a chihuahua so it’s possible she hasn’t actually seen it yet.
