Those of you who already either know me or know of me know that I am a massive pootie person. We have moved into an apartment and now have a pootie, named Princess Ashley; however I grew up with both cats & dogs and I love both. I do not discriminate against any animal & love animal photos of all kinds. Please enjoy the following and add any photos that you think the community would like to see.     bathroom now and she pooped and peed in her box.  No vet visit today.  She’s taking her meds so hopefully will be back to normal soon.

    Dink seems to be slipping somewhat, which is to be expected in a Sheltie who is almost 15 y/o (rough equivalent in human terms is about 90 y/o.)

    Over the last few weeks, he’s gotten increasingly finicky about his food and virtually stopped eating a few times. We varied his food with additional items several times, and that helped a little. He’s also had a few mild episodes of diarrhea and vomiting.

    His hindquarters have gotten more unstable recently (he has arthritis in his spine and all four legs for which he gets Tramadol and Deramaxx) and has occasionally needed help on the stairs going outside. He also has congestive heart failure, for which he gets Torbutrol.

    We have a vet appointment for him next week to see if there’s anything that we can do to help him. I fear that it’s just that he’s coming to the end of his road in this life.
