Although, come to think of it, the GOP’s dreams of government-gutting and looting aren’t all that far from this, are they?

I guess “forum” is the new “debate.”

Anyhoo, Santorum is asked by a woman what he would do as president to help folks like her ~ in their sixties, husband lost job four years ago, they burned through their IRA, and have moved from one part of the state to another because it’s cheaper. Santorum starts his answer with the fact that he and the missus love to vacation where the woman’s family moved to. Jesus Christ on a pogo stick, the questioner and her husband can’t afford a fucking vacation you asshat and you promote vacationing in her backyard because you’re a fucking moron.

But then these were supposedly pre-screened Republican voters so she’s likely to vote against her economics interests anyway. (She was not happy with the answer she got from Santorum, though.)
