    Back in my day, we’d call Thursday, thirsty Thursday, and a good time was had by all.

    Then we’d all go into work on Friday so horribly hungover, but we always got the job done.

    Them days are long gone.

    the fishing report for the Sacramento crowd. Hubbie and I trolled for Salmon yesterday on the Sac. from the Isleton bridge to almost ko-kets resort. nada. Went to lunch at Wimpy’s and came back through the cross channel at Walnut Grove just in time to see a guy net a nice ohhhh about 28″salmon. Trolled back down from about 2 miles north of the Isleton bridge to the Isleton public dock. nada. one large mouth bass. Then we pulled the lines, and made the dash to Sherman Island as the wind was starting to get fresh and it was 4:30pm. And that, was my day off. It was nice and politics free. Well until we got home and I had to get my msnbc fix. 🙂

    I KNEW whose picture was coming. It must suck to be Clooney. To know that you can have damn near any woman you want would really take the challenge out of life.

    Well……one challenge, anyway. 🙂
