It's time to let our reps know…

…both Senators and Congressmen and women, that the majority of us favor a public health plan and are opposed to the way insurance companies suck our money out of health care. If they don’t understand this, then they shouldn’t be reelected, neither Republicans nor Democrats.

If you haven’t contacted your representatives, or participated in the many polls and petitions on the web (like Dr.Howard Dean’s which I think is very important to support: http://www.standwithdrdean.com/LastChance), then it is time to get active. Let them know what you think.

I know that my Rep., Shelly Moore Capito (R), is a lost cause… and hopefully it will help get her replaced next election. That’s the one thing we can hold over their heads, the possibility of massive vote attacks.

    Thanks to my Rep and Senator being colossal douche-bags.

    And sadly, I recently moved to put me into his gerrymandered district.

    I mean seriously. LOOK at this monstrosity…

    As far as I know, they should all be in favor of the public option. Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow are my senators and Dale Kildee is my rep. Gary Peters is the rep of one of the districts south of me and I contributed to his campaign. Even setup a vote blue link through the moose for him. I haven’t heard back from them yet. Might not, since I’m not in his district. I said that he could count on me working to find someone to support against him in the primary if he doesn’t back the public option.

    ’cause Bernie Sanders has sponsored a Senate bill for single-payer.  Need to check in again with Sen. Leahy.  My Rep. (Welch) is having a healthcare conference call with his constituents tonight; I’m going to call in.
