Question 3 on the Massachusetts ballot was an initiative to end greyhound racing in that state by January 1, 2010.  Voters approved that measure!

Obama was on The Daily Show Wednesday night, and as usual, he rocked the house and boosted ratings for the show to its highest ever.  But my absolute favorite part of the night was when Obama talked about race.  Obama said that white folks have not gotten the memo…

That is, the memo on how white folks won’t vote for a black man when they go into the voting booth, AKA the Bradley effect.

Senator Ted Stevens was convicted today on all 7 counts of lying on his financial disclosure forms.  Details from the Alaska Daily News:

Jurors found Stevens, 84, guilty of willfully filing false financial-disclosure forms that hid such gifts as a $2,695 massage chair, a stained glass window, a sled dog and renovations that doubled the size of his Girdwood home. Those gifts, valued at as much as $250,000 over seven years, came mostly from his former friend Bill Allen, the star prosecution witness in Stevens’ trial and the former owner of Veco Corp.

I don’t know if you have seen this, but I nearly fell out of my chair laughing on this one!

Well, not so much, but McCain knows how to get the support of Osama bin Laden’s al Qaeda!
