Interrogatories

Are you a pack rat? What sort of things do you hang on to?

What public, non-political figure would you like to see drop out of sight for good?

Do you still have faith in humanity? Why (or why not)?

I am a total packrat. I’m trying to stop hanging on to stuff going forward, but I really need to get rid of the stuff from before. I hang onto clothes that I will never wear again, Christmas boxes that I will never use again in the age of gift cards, books that have defeated me, electric stuff that no longer works but I need to get recycled, old papers, Allen wrenches, twist ties, cats…

I would like all Kardashian related persons (and all reality TV persons) to go back to their nice, boring, humdrum, non-televised, non-tabloid fodder lives. Is that wishing ill on them? Because if it is, I am.

The balance is tipped on the side of no faith in humanity these days. People are so awful. I feel as if the majority is the bad, evil, racist, sexist, rape-defending, homo and trans-phobic, poor people hating, rich people butt-licking, fake Christian, climate change denying, gun-worshipping, Wal-Mart shopping, Koch snorting, pollution loving, high fructose corn syrup fueled ignoramuses. One or two people or groups of people who do wonderful things are no longer helping this feeling.

Semi-pack rat, in that I forget that I have things that should have been gotten rid of long ago.

First one to come to mind was Miley Cyrus.

I suppose I have some.  Now and then we accomplish something positive.

In 1839, Congress prohibited dueling in the District of Columbia. (That must have been very effective.)

Bet they were sick and tired of not being able to get a quorum.

“Where’s Smith?  What?  Dead?  Damn it!”

  4.    I hope the lady standing way too close and peering over my shoulder enjoys me telling the whole world how ugly her shirt is.

Most of my Twitter following last night was following the Walker staff email dump. But I did follow the #IAmTheNRA hashtag for a while and found these:

    Well, look at that!

    Back later to hover …

  5. Hovering …

    – NO. Do not call that cute wiener dog Carlos Danger!! Oh … I see what you did there. 🙂

    – I was almost triggered by the backfire hover.

    – HA! “The less-evolved members of the Republican Party go after McConnell for his debt limit vote.” Less evolved?  Didn’t a Democratic congressman call them the “monkey court”? 🙂 Poor Mitch … NOT.

One should not egret winging it … no need to be bittern about it, for sure.

“The Cramps?” … I thought that was yesterday’s hover. Oh!! That is one of today’s birthdays!!

Have a great day, Floja Roja.
