Since 2008 – Progress Through Politics

Almost perfect stream of consciousness

So I have been having a rough life…since forever, and I have been almost unable to write anything that makes any sense for at least two years. And on April 19, 2011 the best part of me died. I miss you so much girly girl. This was Maddie a year ago…

Photobucket

Wait, wait…quick, quick. Make me laugh (before I start crying again)!!!

Heh.

This is Nancy Travis who is Almost Perfect in so many ways;~J

Laughs out loud with stuff spurting from my nose. Try that! (LOLWSSFMN) You know it is bad when you suddenly want to say LOL or OMFG to an actual person.

Oh yeah. That did it;~J This did as well…

I suddenly want to visit Austin and see a movie. Or not. The damn place might not even be in Austin. She did say she would only go to theaters in Austin where they are polite as they don’t care what she does while she talks over the movie or reads her kindle or does something else completely inappropriate.

June looks good

Oh. Crap. Make that Austin, TEXAS. Not Austin, Minnesota. SEEEEE. Ah well…it isn’t even in Austin. It is really in San Antonio. Is that actually a town? I do know a De Antonio who is really my better half. heh.

This seems important…

Oh. It is important!

Heh. Jeez, I miss Ann Richards. Remember her? She is the blue hair in the white jacket (white hair in the blue jacket?) but she died in 2006, so how could she be there?

So have you seen any good movies lately? New or old, borrowed or stolen, it doesn’t matter. Just tell me about them, as I seem to be running out…

How have you been?

Heh. I am Almost Perfect.

I knew I would screw that up somehow. You know, there is no actual truth, only shades of perception and angles of perspective.

Just like this.

PLEASE use extreme caution when using the link. Death might result from watching last night’s show. I will embed as soon as I can figure out how.

Oh and this is definitely a work in progress, so y’all come back now, real soon.

“If you are going to tell the truth, you had better make them laugh, or else they will kill you.” Just don’t make me look up who said that please. I said it just now, so there.

Is that enough shoes chris?

Which inspired me to google Nancy Travis. Then I looked for a couple of scenes from the movie. Feel free to play on thru…each one is funnier than the last.

Too much? The film is hysterical. Can it be found on roku/netflix? Cause I just missed the whole damn thing writing this dumb diary.

    Apologies for the usage

I am so so sorry Holz and my eyes are hot right now.

Know that I love you and you have been somebody who I could always read and feel better about myself. A proud card carrying memeber of the Church of Hollz.

I don’t know what else to say but love you Holliwood.

    ((((((((((BIG HUGE HUG)))))))))))

    On to the funny!

tell me how to embed a photo from my photobucket account? Make the instructions totally specific and demonstrate how it is done. That is an order!

    Or not…

Sorry LeeCamp. Being next to cows is not really real. Or it is way too real…when you step in a cow patty or see an actual turd blossom or look up to see two calves sniffing your butt as you are working on pulling a fucking rock out of you wheel of your truck. And don’t drink the milk as it is not pasteurized yet. Oh wait…isn’t pasteurized milk fake too?

You are missed in these parts.

Maddie was beautiful. As always in this, my heart goes out to you. Hang in there.

Dude writes the best headlines/diary titles.

Love the over the top theatrics.

Love the fact that he is clearly passionate and sincere.

Barely (if ever) agree with him but it’s always interesting.

The diary he currently has on the wreck list got me to thinking.

Is bob always doom and gloom?

Paul Krugman Re: (WaPo’s) Zachary Goldfarb’s Stunning, Factual Commentary On Tim Geithner

So I did I quick search over his last few diaries.

Austan Goolsbee’s Departure “Leaves Behind Frustration, Political Dysfunction”

“You don’t need a degree in economics to grasp the logic of that.”

    Krugman: “…things could be worse–and there’s a strong chance that they will…get worse…”

Krugman, Reich: “Against Learned Helplessness,” and “The Truth About the American Economy”

MoJo’s Kevin Drum: “Why the Democratic Party Has Abandoned the Middle Class in Favor of the Rich”

    Uhhh. Yes.

I try to read all his diaries.

(by the way, that P.M. Carpenter dude on the blog roll. he’s good)

I’ve been slowly (but surely) gaining basic understanding of economic issues. The internetz and the Moose basically. So I didn’t even know what both extremes were saying. It’s always good knowing what the worst case scenario is.That should be the name of bob’s blog. Worst case scenario. Heh. I’ve still got a long way to go but I can follow conversations now. The reason I went into science is because I hate numbers.
