Are people being nice?

typo in your first sentence.   🙂

A number of commenters at DailyKos were ticked that the president, when calling on folks who listen to Rush and/or Beck to give Huffington Post a try, seemed to be equating the extremists on the Left and the Right.  I thought it was cool that he gave a shout-out to a blog.

It is unfortunate that those who need to hear and heed the president’s words won’t change one bit.

I also listened to his routine at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.  He had some funny bits but was overall just “meh.”  It didn’t seem like he was all that into it this year.  I’d guess he’s probably a bit tired; went on the road earlier this week, gave the commencement address in the afternoon and had the dinner at night and then is heading to the Gulf today.  That’s on top of all the regular stuff he has to deal with on a daily basis.

the google ads on the sidebar are freaking me out.  which of the few words in the diary (or thread) are cueing Pat Toomey for Senate and Stop Unchecked Liberal Power with super badass eagle RNC ads?

It’s gotta be ‘Kenyan Usurper’ and ‘Teleprompter’, right?  Heh.
