OK . . . this diary isn’t about that old TV show. It actually should read “Jake and the Old Man” . . . that old TV show just comes to mind any time I visit the blog of ABC’s smart-ass, Jake Tapper.

I don’t really like the guy (especially after he got all nicotine nazi on Obama), but I have to give him credit for throwing some sarcasm into his political blog. Today was classic:

    We should have a static page on the site that contains a list of contacts in the media and government. Everything we can think of that people would find useful. Links to congressional offices, the white house, bureaus, msm contacts, columnists, etc… I’ve never seen one anywhere else. It could be quite useful to people, especially our diarists when they want to include contact info in a diary.

    I am sputtering over here.  Alaska requested 2 million dollars from the cash strapped federal government to purchase BASIC equipment for rural firefighters and public safety officers?!  WTF?!

    They have no income tax, they send checks to every Alaska citizen and they are going to the feds for handout to provide BASIC SERVICES?@!  

    I realize I’m repeating myself I’m just in shock.  All the fish studies horseshit is typical — but 2 million for CPR TRAINING?  You mean to f-ing tell me they are handing out rebate checks without providing folks with BASIC safety?  And that’s MY GD problem??

    This (excuse me) BITCH is passing herself off as some budget trimming tax cutting “reformer” as she’s picking MY pocket to look good because she can’t find 2 million dollars of their own money to teach CPfunkinR?  What?! What!?!
