PLEASE Do Not Recommend the check-in diary!

Recs on the weather jar comment are still welcome.

The check-in is an open thread and general social hour. Come back when time allows through the day – the conversation continues.

It’s traditional but not obligatory to give us a weather check where you are and let us know what’s new, interesting, challenging or even routine in your life lately. Nothing is particularly obligatory here except:

Always remember the Moose Golden (Purple?) Rule:

Be kind to each other… or else.

What could be simpler than that, right??

We’re at our low of 63, then we are going up to 84 for our high today. I don’t know about anybody else, but I’m in the mood for some music this morning…

  2. It is 66 degrees here on its way up to 80. Scattered thunderstorms in the forecast. Tomorrow is supposed to be “no rain” but that’s what they said about yesterday and we had evening thunderstorms and quite a bit of rain.

Busy Monday on tap. Have a great day, all y’alls!

79, Am afraid that summer is here.

Went out on the water, again, last night, looking for nesting herons. Saw some but was dazzled by nesting cormorants. Just fabulous with a great sunset thrown in.

Hope it’s a good day for all in Moosylvania.

So last night it wasn’t my chattering mind that woke me up, but allergies. I actually woke up sneezing. Gah! Did you know there’s a little adrenaline surge when you sneeze? Makes sleeping problematic. Yes, I took my allergy med.

So I’m eating breakfast & drinking super-strong tea. Nodded off 3 4 times since sitting down at my desk.

Good-ish news weatherwise – we actually have a little chance of rain every day this week. Not a big one — the most is 40% , on Wednesday, but it’s better than none, and we haven’t hit 100 in actual temperature yet.

and sunny here in Saugerties NY.

Going to try to spend as much time as possible outside instead of camped out at the puter today.

And a glance out the window tells me it’s the same in Seattle. We’re enjoying the morning with our daughter before driving home.

The Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell concert was great fun last night, and regardless of the walking challenge for it was well worth the effort. They have been friends for 40 yrs…..lots of musical memories shared!

can’t make up its mind whether or not it’s going to rain.  As much as we need it, I hope it will lay off and give us some sunshine today – I’m supposed to pick up 17 gallons of blueberries in the morning (no, they’re not all for me) but if they can’t pick…  Unlike the itty bitty Maine blueberries, ours are big (up to 1/2″ across) – wonderful for eating fresh or even frozen (what I do all winter) but not so good for baking.  They’re OK in a pie, but just too big for muffins or pancakes.  Seconds make great pancake syrup though 🙂

Still working on the all the stuff I couldn’t get done last week.  At least I got the grad assistants’ payroll in.  Hope everyone has a lovely day in Moosylvania.
