Good morning, Moosekind. TGIF!

PLEASE Do Not Recommend the check-in diary!

Recs on the weather jar comment are still welcome.

Friday Coffee Hour and check-in is an open thread and general social hour.

It’s traditional but not obligatory to give us a weather check where you are and let us know what’s new, interesting, challenging or even routine in your life lately. Nothing is particularly obligatory here except:

Always remember the Moose Golden (Purple?) Rule:

Be kind to each other… or else.

What could be simpler than that, right?

Oh, wait. I have two co-workers out & am covering 3 desks. Hold that woohoo for this afternoon.

And a lovely afternoon it will be, high near 70.

Hiking for me this weekend. What grand adventure do you have planned?

mid 60’s here all weekend. Headed out to eye doctor appointment this morning, then to dentist.

Have papers to grade this weekend and am counting down the days till summer freedom.

    Have a good day all.

  3. It is 44 degrees here on its way up to 54. STILL rainy. Tomorrow we will briefly see the 60s then back into the 50s for a few days.

I am laughing at the Starbucks eCard and will steal it for my own use.

My day? It started with hope and promise and has already gotten off to a bad start with problem fixes causing more problems. So I will scan the news quickly, tidy up a few online loose ends and then duck out. I am looking forward to the weekend when I can get caught up on old projects without new problems showing up in my Inbox.

Have a great day, all y’alls!

the sixties here. Have cousins arriving from Paris this weekend and am frantically thinking of great things for them to do next week. They are very good to me so I want them to have a great time. They’ve been here a lot though, seen and done pretty much everything so it’s a challenge to find something new and something they would like. Good weather will help! But first, coffee, news, work.

Hope it’s a great day for the Meese.

Gorgeous again here – 50s to 80s. It’s going to warm up over the weekend. And not rain. Rain would actually be “gorgeous” to us.

Eating breakfast – the tofu/avocado thing, and drinking tea. Sleepy morning. I’ve got to plan my mornings better, and next week ride to work. No, really. It’s only 4 1/2 miles, there’s no reason not to.

I was brave/foolish & wore sandals today, without compression socks. If my feet start to swell…. well, we’ll see how it goes.

Earworm: Just Say Yes acoustic version. The studio version is what’s on the cd in my car, but I like this much better. I’ve never found an audio of an acoustic version, or it’s what I’d use in mixes, the studio version is way to poppy/dancy for such a sweet love song.

    and my PV system has generated in it’s first full week of some sunny but mostly partly cloudy days 3/4 of my average non-A/C month’s electricity usage!  Hope everybody gets some lovely back-muscle-relaxing sunshine this weekend.  (When are those rich men in Congress going to “galt” themselves out of here?  They used to promise us that.)  {{{HUGS}}}

It’s beautiful here, with milky white clouds against a pale blue sky, greenery bursting out all over, the grass a dark emerald from all the rain. I love spring!

Have taken Miss Pink Cheeks to day care, shopped at Trader Joe’s, and am now home to enjoy some coffee and an oatcake or two spread with apricot jam.

Should have done some work last night but I was just too tired. “Tomorrow is another day,” said good old Scarlett O’Hara, and who can argue with that? I’ll do something manana.

This weekend: breakfast with Miss Princess at Virginia Kitchen on Sunday morning, dinner at elder son’s house in Arlington in the evening. How nice it will be not to have to cook on Sunday!

Hope Meese everywhere will have a nice, relaxing Saturday and Sunday.

    but feels cooler.

I’ve gotten my mockorange bushes in, washed the dishes and got some laundry in and out.  But I’m tired; worked the equivalent of more than an extra full day of work and I have to work other job all weekend so next Sunday cannot come soon enough (first have-zero-work-to-do day since early March).

Here is the finished video from Congo — and a big thanks to all of you Moosen for your support.

I will post a story about it tonight or tomorrow.  ðŸ™‚

We enjoyed our first dinner on the Patio last night…..a real family affair as Ron cooked dinner, my sister made dessert, the boys set the able and cleaned up, and I fussed with a few flowers, made a salad , and kept my throbbing foot on ice. It was a nice evening.
