    Headed for a high near freezing. A beautiful clear if chilly day. No white Christmas here; we had a nice covering but temperatures near 70 on Sunday took care of that!

    How delightful … a Christmas Day poem!!!

    It is 16 degrees here and we are expecting a high of 23 degrees. Light snow tonight will land on a very white ground. Our snow depth right now, per NOAA, is 8 inches. We have already had 21 inches of snow this season with 17.5 inches of it in December.

    of Christmas morning was to accidentally throw a small birdseed tray off the balcony. I’ll get it later after Mr. Sunshine kicks in a little more.

    Up, eating breakfast & watching Dr Who. Going to visit my friend who had surgery before I go to the movie. It didn’t freeze last night & will get into the 50s this afternoon.

    who celebrate, Merry Christmas! For those who don’t, Merry Wednesday! And why does it take more time to prepare for  and clean up after a party than the time a party actually takes? Last night was my turn to manage the celebrations. Am thankful that this year I don’t have to do Christmas Day as well. Somebody else will be preparing and cleaning up and that is a great present!

    I still have a few presents to wrap and some clean up from last night s dinner, then the rest of the family arrives for more food and fun. I’m glad I have a sofa in the dining room bay window, because today I’m going to watch the activity swirl around me. My knees are done with Christmas!

    This made me smile……hope Jack got lots of treats for indulging his humans so well.

    54 here on the way to 75, sunny.  After a walk on the beach, we’ll saddle up the ol’ honda and drive around town to a few christmas day parties.  lucky for me ms. bubba doesn’t drink.

    last night we had friends over.  I downloaded a bunch of christmas LOLs and ran a slaideshow on the tee vee while the christmas music played in the background.  a good time was had by some (all, i think).

    I hope that all who observe have been having a Merry Christmas, Merry Fishmas to those who don’t.  It’s a good day to eat fish, especially at a Chinese restaurant.  So is tomorrow, for that matter.

    I have been setting up the better half’s new MacBook Air, among other things, for screen sharing and file sharing with her older Mac desktop.  I am writing this post via screen sharing from a different floor in the house than where the older Mac is.  So, I guess it works!

    We barely got above freezing today.  There are a few patches of snow left in shady areas and where it got piled up while shoveling the walk between the driveway and the front door of the house.  It is back down in the upper 20s now (9:18 PM EST/0218 Zulu).
