Since 2008 – Progress Through Politics

Friday August 28, 2009 the Day in Tubes

It has been a rough week. I miss Teddy.

I just wish we had more like Teddy and Hillary and Paul and Bobby and Barack in our government and in our communities.

Teddy at his best.

We need a Ted Kennedy to shame the Senate pugs and blue dog weasels into doing the right thing. Have you no shame, Sirs and Madams?

Come on people. Now is the time to step up and be counted. Without us, nothing happens, and Democracy dies.

Speaking of which, an Onion a day can make me laugh, even as the freakshow is able make universal health care more scary than this:

Heh. Was that Liz Cheney? You be the judge.

Don’t die Dick. I think we need your purity of evil as juxtaposition for Democrats.

Oh, I can just go on and on…

Ahem. Sorry:~D

Goodbye Senator Kennedy. You will be remembered as long as this country is free.

Help here please. I think she is about to do three in a row! Could someone maybe post an open thread or something? Maybe on the Kennedy memorial tonight? Hint, hint.

but am watching the services for Teddy now. In his death I have learned to admire and love him even more.
